I just took 10 motrins - and last night I took 10 tylenol and advil. Will I be fine

You may be fine at the moment, although take this medication the way u r will, in fact, cause liver & kidney damage. If u r depressed u need to speak with someone, I have been where u r right know. I do not know what is making u depressed, so I am not claiming to understand that.

Though two summers ago I overdose on Aleve, not the best feeling in the world. My husband call 911, the ambulance came & picked me up, they took me to an emergency room where they shoved a long plastic tub down my throat. This causes u to vomit up the pills, although u r vomiting up charcoal at the same time this tub is down ur throat, not something I would recommend. After all of that, because they felt I was a threat to myself I got a one way trip to the mental hospital & was help there for 72 hours. Not even an attorney could get me out.

You should go to the ER & tell the triage nurse what u did!!! Excesses of motrin or tylenol can cause kidney & or liver failure depending on how much u take & what u take. Deaths from these things r slow & painful. I do not think the amount u have taken would be a reason to get ur stomach pumped, but it depends on what other health problems u have & what other meds u take. The hospital can help u get some mental health help & take care of any pain u maybe having. Do not experiment with OTC drugs !! It can be dangerous especially if u drink alcohol. Good luck getting treatment, u sound like u need help. You can also call Poison Control or a suicide hotline in ur area for anonymous help. I have worked in a hospital for 17 years, but i am not a nurse,,,, so seek help, please.

Tylenol and other pain relievers taken in large amounts can damage your liver
if your having chronic pain with your depression you should consult your doctor he should be able to prescribe something

If you are taking meds like this you are not fine.. You need to go to your local emergancy room. You are doing permanant damage to your body that wo not just go away. I say agin you are not ok. If you can not find a ride to the ER now, call 911 or your local emergancy number and tell the dispatched how much of what meds you have taken. The full effect of tylenol will not be seen for days, you need a doctor now.

you may not notice any side effects yet and hope that you never will..but..if you want to suffer from liver damage and kidney damage..then keep loading up on that stuff.. why do you think they put the warning lables and limits on the bottle?.. none of those things will stop your depression.. as for the pain.. there are other things you can do.. do some research on line.. and take it easy with the pills.. good luck

You are really putting stress on your liver. Liver damage is nothing nice. What you need to do is call a doctor or suicide hotline and talk to someone so that you do not do it again and next time you may not be so lucky as to not have damage. Get some help, talk to somebody. The Motrin may start irritating your stomach soon.

That is really not good for your liver! If you are in serious pain you need to see a doctor so he can prescribe you something stronger. With taking the amount that you did will not kill you but it is not good for you either. Much more and you will have seriously hurt your liver and that is a VERY painful way to die.

that depends. id be fine, but my body normally has no effect of drugs. its genetic. once i took like, 300mg of amitriptaline [12 sleeping pills] and i didnt get the slightest bit tired. but if you havent felt any side effects yet, you should be fine.

Are you actually trying to kill yourself, if so, then why even be concerned with whether or not you will be fine?

Anyway, you should be, although I would monitor myself for stomach pains over the next few weeks. You could possible have created an ulcer, a common side effect of ibuprofren abuse.

You should go to the hospital and get evaluated by a psychologist or psychiatrist. Or, stop taking the medications and go see a therapist on Monday so they can help you with your issues. Even if this does not kill you right away, you can destroy your liver, kidneys, and develop other issues as a result of taking too many over the counter medications at once. You OD'd on these medications which would be classified as a suicide attempt. GO GET HELP!

why?? did u take it for pain management?? did u take it as a result of ur depression??

for whatever reason, i would advise talking to a health care professional. if u r experiencing that much pain, u need to look into getting a prescription that will address the pain.

if u were self-medicating because of the depression -- again -- u may need to see a doctor. taking a medication above & beyond the labels recommendation ((on a regular basis)) is not wise. it can lead to serious complications..

you will be fine. since you took the tylenol and advils last night, they would have done there jobs and went away, so by taking the motrins, it should have been enough time that past. So you shouldnt worry at all

I do not know--that is a lot of medication. Never take so many--that is what the directions are for.
If you have been feeligng depressed, see your doctor--he/she can refer you to someone you can talk to.
